Sequoyah State Park, located in eastern Oklahoma on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake, is a haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. With over 19,000 surface acres of water and 225 miles of shoreline, the park attracts boaters as well as those who just enjoy relaxing on the swim beach. Visitors enjoy hiking, picnicking, horseback riding and Western-themed activities as well as wildlife watching, golfing and camping. Experience a true Tabernacle environment in a tent, bring your camper or rent a cottage. Activities available onsite include, swimming (both lake and pool ), horseback riding, fishing, golf, a nature center, many beautiful trails to walk, several beautiful campsites with both electric hookups and running water, or remote sites. There are several boat launching sites also. There are good tennis courts and Marina Cove provides boat rentals. Be prepared to stop your car to watch deer and other wildlife pass before your eyes!

Groups will find picnic shelters and group camping facilities for RV and tent camping, as well as A-frame cabins with a dining hall.
The Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, formerly known as Western Hills Guest Ranch, offers on-site lodging within the park.

Oklahoma State Parks Camping Rates:
- The base rate for a primitive tent or RV camp site is $12.00 per night.
- Semi-modern site, which includes electric and water, the rate is $20.00 per night.
- Modern site, which includes electric, sewer and water, the rate is $23.00 per night.
- Some parks offer premium sites, like those at water’s edge, for an additional $5.00 fee per night.
- For campers over the age of 62, Oklahoma State Parks offer a $2.00 discount on the base rate per night, with proper identification. Additional rates for electric, sewer or water are not discounted.
- Totally disabled discounts are 50% off the base rate for camping with proof of disability such as a Medicare card (for those under the age of 65), notice of total disability from the Social Security Administration, Veterans hunting/fishing permit showing 100% disability signed by the Director of ODVA , letter of disability from Workers Comp, insurance or retirement boards or signed letter from personal physician on letterhead. Additional rates for electric, sewer or water are not discounted.
- Golden Age Passports are not accepted at Oklahoma State Parks. These are intended for use at the Federal Corps of Engineers campgrounds, the National Park Service and U.S. Forest Services properties.
- We are close to the towns of Tulsa, Talequah, Muskogee OK.

Within the Park
Visit Three Forks Nature Center for live animals, displays, a naturalist and a wide variety of trails for hiking, biking and running. The on-site 18-hole golf course with pro shop offers rental equipment, snacks and drinks, corporate outings, tournament bookings, lessons and more. Sequoyah Riding Stables provides trail rides and hayrides on wooded and open trails inside the fabulous Sequoyah State Park. Bring your group out to Cowboy Camp at the stables. The full-service marina at Paradise Cove features boat rentals, boat sales, loading dock, gas dock, slip rental, paddle boats, personal watercraft, storage, bait and tackle supplies.
